collecting classic bikes

Anyone out there collect classic bikes? For the past thirty years i have been following trends in the classic bike market and have identified certain bikes that have proven to be good investments .Unlike other investments a bike can be enjoyed while appreciating in value.The most recent auction results show that collectable bikes are holding their own in the current credit crisis.If anyone is thinking of restoring an old bike or starting a collection let me know as i could advise which makes and models are most collectable.If you know of any old 1950s to 1980 bikes lying around let me know as i may know someone who is interested in buying them.
