Come support all the ‘crazy’ extreme dual-sport rally riders this Saturday.

Enjoy a full English breakfast (for only R40) and perv over some beautiful full-spec rally bikes at this weekend’s 2nd Amageza Rally Run Qualifiers Event.

Our hosts Zone 7 will not only be serving delicious full breakfasts, but they feature an extensive lunch menu of steaks, burgers & toasted sandwiches to compliment their massive bar & entertainment area.

Note: For safety reasons, there will be no spectators allowed on the route.

For the 2012 Amageza Rally Run,  the event will take place in and around the Sutherland area over the 28th and  29th of April 2012. Between 50 and 100 participants, who successfully  completed one of the 4x Amageza Qualifiers, will take part in this extreme  dual-sport motorcycle challenge.

About the Western Cape  Amageza Q2 (2nd Qualifier):

The Amageza Qualifiers are designed to  assess the interested rider for the necessary mental, physical skills  & determination to participate in the main event in April 2012. During registration each rider is given a GPS route with marked Check Points (CP).  Rider briefing will be at 8h30, and riders will be released two at a time (with 2-minute intervals) as of 9h00.

The 1st Western Cape Amageza Qualifier was held in October 2011 – starting  from the Morningstar Airfield. Enjoying over 30 degree Celsius heat, the 200km route took participants through both ‘liaison’ and ‘special’ legs – including over 12kms of dunes.  Only 9 out of the 28 participants qualified –  making the cut-off time of 5 hours.

A further 4 participants qualified at the 1st Gauteng Amageza Qualifier on 22nd of October 2011.

This Saturday the 5th November, we are expecting in excess of 40 determined Amageza participants –  including a number of South African competitors training for the upcoming Dakar Rally, with their awesome full-spec rally bikes.
