Cruise control?

Hey dudes
I have seen/heard of a device (various types if I'm not mistaken) that acts as a sort of cruise control for your throttle.  I promised my better half that I'll get her one (it was part of a deal we made - let's not go into the details here )

Can you guys suggest anything specific, and where to find it?
