I own a 2008 KTM 250 XCW and although I love the 2-smoke to bits, it tires my forearms quicker than any other bike I have ever ridden. I guess poor technique is also to blame, but I have come to the conclusion that it also has something to do with the throttle being snappy, i.e. it moves easily in my hand and the bike therefore bucks and jumps when I go over obstacles. This makes my grip the throttle hard (kind of a death grip to keep the throttle steady) and leads to the quick tiring of my forearms. At least this is my diagnoses.
Anyway, if you get what I am trying to explain, I shall appreciate your advice on possible fixes (except buying a 4 stroke, of course  ). Does one get a throttle retarder for 2 smokes, for example?
