Dakar: hard upshift to neutral

I've started to notice something on my Dakar: shifting up from 1st to neutral (e.g. at a robot) is getting harder, almost like it's a bit stuck. And when it eventually shifts, it often goes into 2nd, not neutral.

Anybody else had this problem?
