Hi Guys
Me and a mate of mine want to ride from Dar es salaam to JHB on a BMW Sertao and a BMW F650GS but will most lightly only have 9 to 10 days to do it in. We were thinking the most adventurous route would be down the coast of Mozambique although it does look like extremely long days but we are open to any advice on different routes and countries. We are happy to pay for reasonable accommodation and camp where needed. We have a few questions.
1. Is it possible to do in 9 days and still enjoy it?
2. Is it safe to camp off the roads if needed?
3. How safe is Northern Mozambique these days?
4. Will we have to carry a lot of petrol considering our bikes only have 17l tanks?
Any advice would be really appreciated.
