I've been riding in Death Valley usually twice a year for a few years now.  I usually go in the Fall and Spring when the temperatures aren't so hot.  This year I had 25 riders join.  We did probably four groups on two days and saw some really cool stuff.

I made some chili this time and that was a lot of fun to all have dinner together.  I also brought a bottle of Tequila and we put a GoPro on the bottle as people took shots.  That's fun!

Death Valley has a lot of old mining ghost towns from the Spanish colonial days all the way up to the 1940's or so.  It's all national park now; the largest one in the United States.

This one place we went Friday is called Saline Valley Hot Springs.  Two years ago it was nearly impassable.  53 miles of rutted, rocky washouts, deep sand, etc... is now so good you could drive a Prius there.  Lots of hot spring pools to dip yourself in.  Lots of old naked people too :(
