Race Dog
i think i seem to understand how it works ..
its used to get the piston to TDC and ease with the starting
but when the whole cable system is messed up i think it will be the main cause for the bike not starting...
heres how my bike's system is laid out ..
i have one running from the left bar end down to the right side of the engine ..
this goes through to the left side and runs with a cable to the kick starter.
now im pretty sure the right hand side is correct -- i did not fiddle there .
but i did take the clutch cover off and i think that the cables are nt lekker there
how the bike feels when i kick with the lever engaged
there no compression - i can kick through as much as i want - very easy.
it pops out - im @ TDC usually there al ot of compression or i can feel it with my foot
it seems almost as if the compression system is still engaged now - even tho the lever popped out .
this is making the bike backfire when i kick start it ..
im really confused tho ...
