Hello KLR my old friend
Iâ??ve come to ride with you again
To feel the vibrations softly creeping
Up my spine to stop me sleeping
And the visions, that are blurry in my brainâ?¦.still remain
And reflect the sounds of Tweety.
On windy passes I ride alone
Narrow paths of mud and stone,
Beneath the peak of my helmet
My brow is sweaty, hot and wet
And my eyeâ??s were splashed by the guts of a flying ant
That came and went..
To the sounds of Tweety
And in the workshop I saw
Ten thousand mechanics, maybe more
Mechanics working without fixing
Doos, tooltubes and nuts mixing
Mechanics fitting bolts with Loc-tite and a prayer
And no-one cared
To fix the sound of Tweety
â??Posersâ? said I, you do not know
Cruisers in mud do not go
Beemers and Katooms might please you
Trans-Alps and Stroms might bleed you
But my KLR is my Life, my Pride, my Pal
She took me through Hell
With the sound of Tweety
And the Posers bowed and prayed
To justify the price they paid
And the Kawa sign flashed its calling
