DL650 Exhaust Modification

Did anyone on here cut out the smaller inner pipe at the end of the standard exhaust can of a VStrom?

Did it make any difference? I know it will not affect the performance but I want to make my bike just a little bit louder.

I don't to mess with the internals of the exhaust just that last little piece.

Any advice??
