So on my commute today (in the cage :-\ ) I had a guy on a 650GS overtake me and then sit behind the Interlink in front of me. He was hanging about a meter behind the link, middle of the lane, so the driver probably had no idea he was there. If that truck had to suddenly brake hard for any reason the GS would have ploughed into him. We were doing about 100 -110 km/h on the Bottelary rd. He then waited until just before the Botfontein rd turnoff to overtake. Overtaking on a blind rise with a intersection on top might not be the best idea when you are on a bike, just my 2c.
5 min later another 650GS overtakes me, then proceeds to overtake the same truck, on the left, in the yellow lane. He passed the next car in the same fashion.
These guys must really have no sense of self preservation. Both top contenders for a future Darwin award I think.
