Drive thru Africa on a KTM 990 Adv. S, on my own

Hi Everyone,

I am new on this site and preparing my 990 S to travel thru Africa. I only have the Ktm a month and don't know the Ktm's that well.

My son, Johan and me travelled before from Cairo to Cape in 19 days on two 650 GS's, but this time I will travel on my own and up thru Africa till Tunisia and to Dakar, West Africa and back..if me and the bike are still OK!

I will stop at all the Olympic Committees of the 17 to 20 countries of the trip and promote High Altitude training and Sport Development for Africa at Afri Ski, Lesotho.

I could clear hurdles well when I was younger but this trip could be much more adventures than fast!

There must be a lot of information I need to know about the Ktm 990 Adv. S and Africa...
