Dropping your pride and joy down a gavel road

OK guys so here is the question of questions ( well it is to me )

Your off on a weekend ride on your bike exploring the back of beyond when the unthinkable happens.. 

You end up throwing it down the road 

Now if it was me I would be devistated... 

My new bike costing between R60 000 - R140 000  ( Who knows what the new GS800 will cost  ;D ) and now it's all scrathed up and worst might even have a few dents ...

How do you guys deal with that sort of blow..  Do you leave it  or fix it .. MORE money  :-\ :-\
