Duallies to Dullstroom II
Making being lost look good

I'm making this an annual thing. It'll pair up with an annual Duallies Winter/Snowball/Frozen Nose run of some sort in June.  :ricky:
If attendance grows then so will the itinerary.

For this ride we'll meet up a Que Sera on Saturday morning (7:30am) for breakfast, then head out to Bronkhorstspruit, Loskop Dam, through the farm lands to Belfast, then on to Dullstroom. There'll be approximately 200km of dirt roads and 75km of 80-100kph tar.

We'll stock up on perishables (eg. meat, milk, beer) at Dullstroom, then head to Elandskloof where you can camp (R50pp) or choose from a number of accommodation options, the most popular choice being their chalets at R750 for a six sleeper (1xdbl, 2xsngl, 1xbunk), or the rondawels at R350 for a three sleeper. Please visit their web site for more detail, pictures and other options. All the accommodation options are reasonably close together. Camp sites have electricity and decent ablution blocks. There's an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi.

On Sunday morning we'll probably hit Dullstroom for breakfast, then do one last off-road section over the local mountain before taking a lazy, scenic ride back home on tarred roads.

Please contact Elandskloof yourself to make your booking - their phones are unreliable but they respond fairly quickly to email. [email protected]

Non-biking family members are welcome to join us. There's a small playground and wotnot for the kids.
This ride is suitable for newbies as the dirt roads are generally in good condition, and bikes like the V-Strom will handle it just fine.  :pot:
Geocachers welcome, pick two or three caches if you want and we'll work on having rest stops at those locations.

Please put your name on the list along with your accommodation choice.
