So I heard that my newly appointed girlfriend was going to be in Mosselbay and Greyton on the Easter Weekend. After this me and SidPitt started planing the trip (Please forgive me for using a girlfriend as an excuse to take a bike trip). After some tweaking and planning we were ready to rock and roll.
So at 5 am Friday morning I kicked the old thumper to life!

After hitting the N2 stopped for a quick refuel in Swellendam. Stopped outside for a quick wizz.

So after that made it to Mosselbay just before 10, the old XT surprised me! When I got there I had a nice cold beer with my goose.

So on Saturday I hit it back to Greyton, amazing little town just off the N2. Hit the gravel road from Riviersonderend to Greyton (not much but something). Stayed in a castle on a wine farm on top of the highest point. Check the view out!

So on Monday morning I geared up and got ready for the last stretch.
Took the XT from Greyton ,hitting the gravel, to theewaterskloof dam then Fransschoek and Stellenboch.
Had to stop a few times to take it in. Nice road, good view and great bike!
The old XT 600 held up well and chowed up the gravel. :ricky:

It was a good trip, Next time I will definitely do more gravel. :ricky:
