Bergrivier Eco Retreat is a "lekka rustige" getaway only about 40km from PE, just off the N2/Hankey turnoff, at Thornhill. I was there again this past weekend. There are some very scenic, short walks and even a long 4x4 route that may be suitable for smaller/enduro bikes? I've not tried it yet.
It may be the ideal - bridge the gap to the next EC Bash - get-together?
