What effect does heat cycling have on the grip of a tyre?
I bought a used Metzeler Tourance with about 80% tread on and had proper heat cycles according to the seller.
I had a Tourance previously on my bike and loved it, it felt very stable in corners. This "new" tyre doesn't feel that good. Had a little slide yesterday in a corner, no gravel or oil/diesel on the road and I wasn't even going fast. Since I had them it felt that way after an Anakee 2 that I didn't treated with heat cycles.
