Engine cutout at highway speed

Had an oddball issue this morning while riding. I couldn't recall if I was in 5th or 6th gear and went for a gear change up. Was in sixth so no change, and when aI let out the clutch the engine simply cut out.
I've been trying to figure out what might have caused it, but I got nothing. Engine started right up without issue directly afterwards, after I pulled over. No issues after, notr any kind of hesitation.

Simply weird. Anyone with ideas?
I can only think of perhaps something blocking the fuel line momentarily.
