The Etrex 30 is the only Garmin which tracks with both GPS and Glonass. Is this a good thing or not really something to jump up and down about.
Secondly I will not use the GPS on a bike initially and I was quoted the unit by Navworld ( merged with Boltons Warehouse) at R2937.00 excluding and the Topo Southern Africa 2013 Pro for R1140.00 ex.
I basically want to learn to use a GPS and felt the Etrex 30 was a good way to go, so as for maps needed is concerned is Topo all I would need.
Experts pls help me here.
