Eyes on an adventure tank for my 800

This may be silly, and forgive me if it is, but anyone have any idea whether or not the adventure rear tank would fit on the non adventure 800GS?

I see no reason why not, if you were to leave the back firings off. After all the Adventure is said to be the normal GS with a few "optional extras"
