I recently put a 15T front sprocket on the Dakar with the following results:
In Town its a real beauty. Picks up the front wheel REAL High and keeps it there till the rev limiter kicks in. At every traffic light, off course.
(Pity I am not skilled enough to change gears and keep the wheel up there)
On Gravel also, Much better due to the higher revs. Makes technical stuff a real breeze.
On the open road. A real pain as the revs run at about 6k at 140km/h.
If this is the result on the Dakar, I can just imagine how potent Kev's KTM 950R must be with the changed sprockets. Must be a Bit*h to keep that bikes front wheel on the ground.
