Hi Guys
I noticed yesterday that my bike only wants to start in neutral. When I put it in gear with clutch pulled in, she is dead quiet. (side stand up)
From what I could find on the web it seems to be the micro switch on the clutch lever.
I tried readjusting the clutch, but this made no difference. Is there a way to test the switch, to make sure that it is the culprit. Or alternatively, is it possible to override
the switch without cutting the wires? I have phoned BMW and a new switch is about R450. Is it worth overriding it, or would you say it is best to replace?
