Trailrider
Bachelor Dog
My son and I decided to go explore the mountains again on Saturday. To my surprise and great pleasure my dad decided to go with on the spur of the moment. We didn't have an extra helmet but that was not going to stop us. Luckily we have enough bikes :ricky: :ricky: :ricky:
My dad and my son riding together.
In hindsight I should have taken much more pictures. Hopefully this will happen more often in future.
Not content with a short ride on Saturday my son and I went riding again on Sunday morning first light. This time I took the 200.
In-ride shot:
Early morning, fresh air, few things can be better than this!
We took some roads we've never ridden before. It was quite clear that no-one has been here for a while and in the technical bits the light bikes really come into their own.
We even came across a little pass!
Had I been on the big bike this would have been the end of the road. :-\ But not this time
This bike is not a MX bike. It's not an Enduro or an adrenalin / speed / hooligan bike either. But it's a great Trailbike! It just eats up any terrain. 8) Just as I was about to get that arrogant "my bike can go anywhere" feeling certain riders fall victim too, Nature threw me this:
2 meters wide and 2 meters deep with sides going straight down.
Oh well :
(had we been 4 riders we could have carried the bikes over, but alas)
There are many more roads to ride. ;D
Great scenery around here. I'll let the pics tell the story:
How's this for amazing!
I'm Trailrider and my family shares my passion.
