I have a small issue.
The old XL was a 6V bike, now its a 12V bike. I got a small 12V battery, its a black one, like the back-up battery for an alarm system, one of those sealed jobbies. But its not working so lekker.
I was thinking...
What if I get a "normal" size 12V battery, and mount it inside the airbox. But then I'd have to fit one of those cone-type filters to the carb to win the space for the 12V battery....
Would I have to rejet the carb if I did this?
What other issues will I encounter if I do this?
I would like a bigger 12V battery, I want to run my GPS, and may need to run a 12V compressor too if I get a flattie...
