Hi all.
Busy fitting Zumo 500 to my XTR & want to know if running it directly from the battery is an issue..? (Question 1). I do have an additional in-line fuse (besides the one fitted to the unit) to fit but I've been told that "there's a simple solution to this: hook it up directly to the battery, with a proper fuse obviously, and use a relay hooked up to the something like the parking light.”
Any advice on which will work better & regarding the relay, where would I find a decent one? (Q2)
I’m sure that you’ll have gathered that I’m as clueless as they come, thus any feedback, alternatives, etc. Will be greatly appreciated
