I've got a 2003 BMW R850R and the engine is looking pretty sad. I guess all the grit and rain on the UK roads have taken their toll as the engine's paint is flaking off pretty badly. Especially around the lower front and the front engine cover behind the alternator cover.
Anyone have any ideas how this can be fixed? (total engine removal/bead blasted/powder coated?) Not sure if the cost is going to be worthwhile?
Dankie
