Time has come to upgrade to something with 6 gears
My KLR is as such for sale.
2006 model
The following work done from March until now (so probably less than 2000km since being done):
In addition I have added or fixed:
Bike runs great and doesnt use significant amounts of oil. Starts first time and pulls hard.
Pictures below. Asking R27 000 with a RWC included.

- New DID X ring Chain
New 16T front Sprocket
New 43 T rear sprocket
Replaced Rear Brake disk and new pads
Replaced Front brake disk and new pads
New uprated rear suspension spring (Red spring)
New front fork seals and fork oil
Replaced rear brake calipre
Replaced cush drive
New Fork boots (OEM ones)
Replaced coolant
Full oil service
Fan wired to auto switch with manual overide
Replaced rear shock preload adjuster
New Choke Cable
In addition I have added or fixed:
- New tyres- Metzeler Karoo 3's
Seat recovered
LED headlight and LED tail light
Dual USB port on handelbars with switch
SAE powerpoint at back of bike for charger, pump, etc
SW Motech Crash Bars
SW Motech Foot pegs
SW Motech Bash plate
Rear Pannier racks with Dirtbagz bags
Folding mirrors
