I am reluctantly selling my 701. Details:
Got it new June 2016. So almost 1 year old.
5500km. Service intervals is 7500km. 1st service will be done this week at Eddy2Race.
However, I changed oil and filters twice already. Still 1 year left on Factory warranty.
Unifilter and powerparts lid from day 1. Stock filter and lid included.
Rumbux luggage racks.
Akro exhuast. Original exhaust included.
Husky handguards.
Clutch and engine guards.
Fancy rally footpegs.
Tubliss conversion front and rear.
Basically brand new tyres - Mitas C21 front and Pirelli Scorpion rear. I have a spare set of tyres more tour orientated that will go with the bike.
Tail piece which holds number plate bolts on - included. As well as rearview mirrors.
Bike is fully registered and road worthy. I obviously want to keep my number plate.
Husky booklet with all papers, service manual and spare keys.
What's wrong with it: bike fell a few times - scratch marks here and there, mostly on the luggage racks. Front rim has a ding in it, but had no issue with the Tubliss system so it's a non issue really. Apart from that not much wrong with it. But not in MINT showroom condition, bike was used mainly on dirt and on the farm. Also raced the West Coast Baja in March.
I live in Kakamas, but will be taking the bike to Eddy2Race in the Cape this coming friday. So Cape based guys can view it there.
Reason for selling: a 501 will fulfill more of my needs at this stage. Wanted the 701 for touring, but that just isn't happening. One day I shall have one again - really awesome machines.
