I bought a new xt660R yesterday, and was wondering if I can run LRP as it is much "softer" on an engine than unleaded.
Also, the manual says, to not operate it more than 1/3 or throttle for prolonged time for first 1000km, then no more than 1/2 throttle for next 600km, then engine is run in.
It is the same engine as on the Raptor 700, and for an offroad bike, you can run engine in within 3hrs wich is a complete different way!
What is your opinion?
