I must admit that I have not been on toe road from Calvinia to Sutherland since 2004 :-\
Back then there was F with a capital F all in Middelpos. I actually don't have any recollection of the place besides a flock of sheep hopping over the side of a not so well built cattle grid?
Can you get fuel in Middelpos?
I will be going from Nieuwoudtville to Sutherland on the 13th of Oct, I still need to find a nice route and more importantly a decent map. Planning to do Gannaga Pass, I have not done this before only the relatively bland main road as well as Katbakkies Pass to Sutherland via Ouberg pass.
Does any one have a good road map of the area to sgare or knows where I can get one? No I don't have a GPS and I don't want one. A map does not need batteries
