OK my bike is for sale, just bought a 2005 TransAlp :biggrin:
1996 BMW F650 Funduro with extras - about 65500 km’s R25500 negotiable
I bought the bike about a year ago with 56600km’s on the clock, bike had new chain and sprockets (still good), new wheel bearings, new brake pads and a new clutch. Since then I did the following:
New tires, Michelin Anakees, still many km’s left (just ask the_Wes).
Major service by LeCap, Valve clearance set, oil and oil filter changed, replaced the intake manifold and the carbs were cleaned and synchronised.
A little later LeCap replaced the steering head bearings.
New battery
Oil changed again at 61000 km’s
Serviced again last week by Lecap:
Valve clearance set, oil and oil filter changed, carbs cleaned and synchronised.
Extra’s:
Kappa touring screen (standard screen included)
Wide foot pegs
ProTaper SE CR high bars and ProTaper grips
Zeta Hand Guards
42L Kappa topbox
Spare 19 inch tube

The bike is in great running condition, mainly used to commute 70km per day. Also done some off road eg Cederberg loop https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=25690.0 and bike did much better than I expected. There are a few scratches on the fairing, esp. on the left side, due to being dropped at low speed.
