When I was a kid growing up in Zim we ised to go to Kariba for some of our family holidays, also at one stage during the war my dad was stationed on the Kariba Dam wall, so once we went there to go visit him.
on one particular holiday we stayed at the Carribea Bay resort and the holiday always stuck with me. A while back I googled it and could'nt believe that through all these years the resort is still there and so it always became a bucket list thing to do.
I was chatting with my mates Waynan and Wedgie today and naturally we always chat about bikes, Wedgie has just picked up an CRF450X and Waynan has just aquired an XR600.. we were chatting about going back to Namibia, it was a cool idea but we have done Namibia a few times, it was the right time and place to spring the idea of doing Carribea bay.
Thing is, we only have 10 days.. can it be done?
