Just a quick question on the navigation on a Track with the Garmin eTrex 30.
The purple line which seems to be a default color when navigating is not visible when riding in bright light. When you select a track to view it on the map it gives you an option to set the color but the moment you Press Go to start navigating it automatically goes back to purple. I am now having to rely on my old Foretrex with its solid black line.
It is possible to view the track in black on the map but then you can't Press Go to start navigating. You just view on map but this does not calculate distance, time etc.
Pretty frustrating as i have tried many ways and just can't seem to change from that dreaded purple line that cannot be seen.
