We are planning a ride , leaving Friday & Aug Jhb , sleeping that night in Augrabies. The next day leaving Augrabies , down to Lamberstbaai, sleeping Lambertsbaai. Sunday morning leaving Lambertsbaai , down to Matjiesfontein , load onto the train , Monday morning offload Kimberley , and in the afternoon ofload Jhb.
The riding day 1 will be done mostly on tar to cover the 900km's. The next 2 days can be a combination of tar and gravel, pending on the route we take. The one thought is go via Springbok , Kamieskroon via Namaqua Park , Down to Vredendal , then Lamberstbaai. The other option is to go maybe Brandvlei , Loeriesfontein, Vredendal, Lambertsbaai.
The last day from Lambertsbaai is most likely going to be mostly tar , reason being previous night's activities at muisbosskerm etc...! Ifv that then it is straight shooting Clanwilliam , Porterville , Tulbach , Ceres to matjiesfontein via Touwsrivier. An other option can be Clanwilliam , Calvinia , Sutherland to Matjiesfontein , or Calvinia and the R 355 to Matjiesfontein.
