So the family are all meeting at Gariep in December and I have decided I'm taking the bike down.
Now the cars are obviously taking the N1, but I don't want to do something that boring. So, can anybody give ideas on more interesting routes that I can take there? I have never done a trip this long. I can even split it onto two days and have a stop-over somewhere. I'd prefer tar roads as I'm not that adept on dirt road yet (Read: I've gone off-road once!)
