I recently bought a 2004 BMW 650 Dakar, I am a long fellow and the bike had a low seat fitted. There were a few cuts in the vinyl so I needed a new seat or a recover.
I took it to Modern Upholsterers in Vanderbijlpark (I am not affiliated, just wanting to share great service and a great product)
I provided a picture from the internet of what the current seats profile was and how I would like it to use (I used the Wunderlich pics) asked that they increase the height and do a nice stitch job with two colours (black and grey).

I cost me R620, anyone who knows the dakar seat knows that the vinyl is molded onto the foam. The process they followed involved cutting off the vinyl, fixing up the foam, building the customised height and the sticthing the two new vinyl colours and covering!
I rode with it yestaerday and it has made an awesome differrence and I think the price was very fair.
