Guidance needed, please! Easy gravel for 2-up Ceres/Matjiesfontein/Montague.

Hi All

Planning a relaxing ride with the missus and want to include some easy gravel (Our experience 2-up is Katbakkies/Tankwa Padstal route, which was most enjoyable.)

Do not have a GPS. Google maps show gravel road branching off from the R 356 outside Ceres and taking you directly to Matjiesfontein. Anybody done this recently? Any information on road conditions, etc welcome.

Next day we want to return to Cape Town, but with a different route. Is there an easy gravel option from Matjiesfontein (possibly via Anysberg) to Montague? Again I look to the dawgs for expert guidance please.
