Hardwiring Garmin in to 990?

Hi Guys,

I wasnt really keen to hardwire it in, its a Zumo 660, but battery life is an issue so needs to be done. I have heard that you can just wire the line into the ACC 2 which is apparently taped into the right hand front fairing, without soldering.

I'd like some advice from someone who has done this... or whether best to take it into an auto electrician and have it done by a pro..
