I fell off and banged my head hard on the gravel road on Monday.
I managed to bite holes in both cheeks and my tongue as well as stretch/pull my neck muscles and it was quite a hard knock on the helmet.
Since Tuesday, I've had what I can describe as a tension headache - a 'tight' skull, sore eyes and stiff neck muscles. You know that feeling when you have a cold and cough and it hurts your head, like it's gonna burst. I'm also on medication for other injuries sustained in the same off.
Now I can go and get it checked but thinking ahead, where is that gonna get me? Other than some more horrendous medical bills.
what is the norm with a concussion? Surely, if there's no op needed, then nothing can be done at all, except rest and take it easy?
In other words, I can fix it myself without bothering with doctors. I'm still working and carrying on with my life but it's been 3 days now ............
What thinks you wise fellas?
