Good evening all;
My boetie and I are essentially farmers and used to things like TTR 230's that we putter to the cattle back and forth. We crawl and slow speed no traffic etc.
But now being single again - midforties and wanting to go out and explore we both bought DS Bikes and we intend taking a slow trip to the Cape from KZN.
Now without breaking the bank or anything what will you guys recomend we buy in terms of Helmet, Jacket, Pants, Boots & Gloves that is safe, comfortable and won't break the bank totally.
* We are both big guys 6ft +
* Large Feet size 12 +
Personally we BOTH hate helmets and looking at those Harley Cruiser thingy mabobs - but then I dont know and we both wear glasses so if we have goggles?
Last but not least any 2nd hand shop for these things because we are still feeling our way and before investing half a farm in riding kit .....
