I took the advise of the WD's and got a Garmin GPSMAP 62s. I loaded Tracks4Africa and Garmap's Topographical and Street Maps for Southern Africa.
I loaded a few my routes and also DJ's route from here https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=134272.msg2590345#msg2590345
The problem is when choose a route to follow it will not navigate to the start of the route and with some routes the GO icon doesn't ever appear.
I have the navigation set to Motorcycle Driving.
I'm really not sure what I'm missing here but the the Nuvi 500 always navigates to the start of the route and I really only bought this unit because of its "ability" to load routes and navigate them as well as the track manager etc.
Anyone who can help... Please.
My wife thinks I'm mental screaming at my nineties looking mobile phone...
