Hi Guys,
My Dad bought a fantastic R1100GS ('98 anniversary model) the other day , loving it!
There is only one verrrrrryyy irretating problem . It sounds like the baffle inside the bottom part of the exhaust (muffler, that sqaure box) is loose.
I've taken it off to have a closer look at it to see if I can somehow open it up to fix it.
Unfortunitly , you'll have to cut the whole box open to access the baffle.
I've spoken to a couple of guys regarding the welding, but they don't sound very keen because of the carbon in the exhaust....
Anybody perhaps had the same problem before or know how to fix it.....?
Maybe a second hand system available that's not being used ?
Or a aftermarket system for sale?
