Some time ago I purchased a set of LED spot lights (10 Watt CREE) via a group buy on this forum. I have just had them installed on my F800GS whilst it was in for a service at BMW. BMW used a wiring harness provided by Motorradical. The spots have been connected directly to the battery so do not switch off when the engine is switched off. The spots however are very dim (??) Does anyone have any idea of why they would be so dim? I see many installations on this forum which show great brightness from spots but these are nowhere near bright (see attachments). There is another bke on the floor at BMW in Centurion with the same type of spots and we checked them for comparisn......they were MUCH brighter!! I would appreciate it if anyone could suggest possible problems with my installation so I can get them to sort it out. Thank you, Steen
ps - first pic shows how dim the spots are in comparison to normal lights; second pic is of spots on only - the spots are positioned less than 1,5m away from the items being illuminated.
