HELP ! NO oil on dipstick....

Okay so I decide to do a few checks on my trusty steed , the bike has 10000km on the ticker and the last service was done by the dealer , then the oil was spot on , but this morning NO oil on the dipstick , left the bike standing for about 2 hours and checked again , NO oil on the dipstick.... So am I doing this oil check wrong or where did all the oil go ?
