My son’s 1996 Mercedes C220 blew a top gasket. Most properly the high Km’s (275 000). I maintained the car thoroughly. New shock, tyres, regular services, new wiring, airflow meter, water pump and TLC . There was no oil usages or any indications of problems.
The value of the car was about R35000 and the repairing looks like R21000. What do I do:
• Take it to the scrapyard
• Repair it or
• Sell it for spare parts
