I am going to buy a commuter, it started off with my brother selling his cafe racer fail to buy one and it just makes sence.. so I have been looking for one. Max and I really want to stick to the budget as best I can which is around R60k, bike will not really be used offroad except gravel highways.
So the 3 choices that really stood out for me was
1) 2010 Transalp neat, low km with a bunch of extras like top box, footpegs, comes in under budget R54k
2) A new NX700C but maxes out the budget then some more without buying any extras, but with a claimed 26km/l fuel economy, it is hard to ignore.
3) a 2006 VFR800 with low km and panniers R65k, a tad over budget but it is a sweet bike.. bulletproof motor.
It is not surprising that they are all Honds's.. Honda gives you wings.
