Yesterday I did a "Hey! I wonder where that road goes" trip home from Red Star Raceway near Delmas. I sort of headed towards Dronkworspruit and hooked a left down a dirst road before I got near the dam. A small bridge took me over a river and into muddy mielie field roads.
Then I got horribly lost and every where I went I found myself on the wrong side of railway lines (I was near Sentrarand).
What should have been a straightforward 65km trip on the highway ended up totalling 125km .... but it was fun.
If I had a problem I wouldn't have had a cooking clue as to where I was, but my Nokia e52 has a GPS facility so I would have been able to give someone my location ....... aren't I so clever!!
