I have a fairly old set of Hepco and Becker panniers and a top box.
The rivets on the bottom of the top box are tired and one is missing, the floor has 2 small cracks where it rests on the bars and the outer shell is fairly scratched.
The rubber hinges on the panniers need replacement and the outer shells are also fairly scratched.
Is there somebody in Cape Town that can get spares and refurbish these? Do you think its worth spray painting, wrapping or coating them to make them black? (I'd prefer them black over grey)
Or do guys typically just chuck them out and replace them when they're tired?
