I've been riding on asphalt many years and only lately came over to the "dark side". Personal reasons at the time, my pillion decide to upgrade :-\
I decided to sell my BMW, sports tourer, while riding back from Cape Town and picking up many small envelopes. That all with a fractured back, broken hip, Not knowing it at the time.
I was looking for a DS motorbike but didn’t know which one. Test drove a F800GS, 1200ADV and so on. Dropped in at Pro-Action late one Saturday afternoon, they were doing stock-take.....had to help them by taking a 990R. Ride Monday - Parked in Garage on Friday :biggrin:
Unfortunately, just had a 1000km service and NOW I'm away down-under for work and a few weeks turned into a few months....so she is all covered up in my garage....waiting willingly.
So that is me.
