Honda CFR230 Indicators Not Working

I bought my son a second hand CRF230 that had LED indicators fitted. The previous owner came off and broke the back indicator, and now I am tying to install two new ones. I just can't get them working.
Problem as follow:
1) Check power from neutral to live on battery, that is fine.
2) Check power form live to neutral on battery. Nothing.

Can anybody suggest how to fix this.
